Lazzat Borankulova is the Founder and CEO of Growth Vision Pro Ltd. and Khan Tengri Innovation Hub in Shanghai, China, where she is building an ecosystem to support and accelerate innovative companies and facilitate cross-border technology transfer. She brings 20 years of experience in asset and investment management, business and strategic planning, and fundraising.

Lazzat serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Harvard Alumni Kazakhstan PF, overseeing engagement with Ivy League alumni clubs and venture capital initiatives, and is a Limited Partner and Value Add Community Member at More Than Capital, a Luxembourg-based venture fund with $100 million AUM founded by business leaders and Harvard Business School alumni, where she is actively involved in capital raising, deal sourcing, due diligence, and mentoring portfolio companies.

Previously, she served as Executive Director of Investments at Verny Capital, responsible for investment strategy, portfolio diversification, and deal structuring; as Senior Advisor to the CEO at AIFC, leading strategy development for market expansion; and as Managing Director for Strategy and Development at Samruk-Kazyna, overseeing investment strategy implementation, capital attraction, and business planning. She also served as Head of the Investment-Strategic Committee at Samruk-Kazyna and as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Samruk-Kazyna Invest.

Lazzat holds an AMP from Harvard Business School, an MSc in Finance from Manchester Business School, and an MBA from KIMEP.
