Ammad Ahmad is a founder-operator with a strong track record of starting, scaling, and exiting an innovative technology-focused business in a PE-backed environment. He brings a hands-on approach to commercial strategy, revenue growth, talent, and organisational design, with a consistent record of accelerating enterprise value and delivering strong, repeatable returns to shareholders.

Ammad co-founded Atheneum, a global market intelligence firm, guiding it from inception in 2010 to a market-leading position with $100M USD in ARR, culminating in a sale to a US private equity firm and a 5x return to shareholders upon exit in 2025. Along the way, he built and led a 600-person team across 14 international offices, secured growth capital across five financing rounds, and established governance frameworks that enabled the company to onboard highly regulated clients.

Since 2015, Ammad has served as a Venture Partner at AHM Capital, advising portfolio companies and European private equity funds on operational excellence and value creation. He also holds board and advisory roles at the London Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Haruko, Workpin, and Hyrex, and began his career in strategy consulting at Kaiser Associates and The Advisory Board Company.
